Built Here. Building Here.
TKC Construction is based at 21076 Charing Cross Road, in the middle of Chatham-Kent. We build post-frame and steel buildings for farms, businesses and homeowners across Chatham-Kent.
A building is the biggest thing most people buy that is not a house. It sits on the property for decades and either works the way it needed to or it does not. There is no fixing a shed you cannot get the combine into.
So we spend the time up front. Before quoting we walk the site and check the access, the drainage, where the hydro runs and what you will actually be doing inside. Then the number goes on paper with the dimensions and the spec beside it, so you can compare it against another quote and see where the difference is.
We build the structure ourselves — the frame, the trusses and the cladding. Concrete goes to subtrades we have used for years, scheduled around our build dates. Either way the job runs off one timeline, so there is one person to ask where things stand.
What We Do Differently
The price we quoted
If the scope does not change, the number does not change. Any revision gets priced and approved before the work happens.
Square and plumb
Everything gets strung and checked. A building that is out at the slab is out at the ridge, and it stays that way.
Clean site
Offcuts, banding, fasteners and packaging go in the bin daily.
We answer the phone
During a build you get a person rather than a voicemail box. After it is done, you still do.
